STEM is FEM announces the prize of its fifth Module “3D Modelling and Printing”
The fifth Module of the STEM IS FEM project will be devoted to 3D modeling and printing as applied in various fields. The event scheduled on June 13-14 will be held online due to the quarantine restrictions.
The topic was chosen at the request of the previous Modules` participants, who were eager to get a closer look at this exact direction. The creative contest grand prix winner will get a prize for arranging an in-house 3D laboratory – a printer and materials thereto, as well as a delayed trip-surprise to a world STEM-event. It is going to be available to the winner as soon as the world fully recovers from the pandemic.
The two participants, taking the second place, will get the online-course “3D Printing Software” by the University of Illinois.
In addition to the contest assignment, the girls will also be given motivational speeches by prominent women, communicate with women who are already using the technology of 3D modelling and printing and take part in practical workshops by the project partners.
The contest is open to high school girls from any secondary education facilities of Ukraine. The contest selection is under way on our website.
