Iryna Natalukha
“I am 16-yar old Ira from Sumy, and my friend coincidentally brought me to the STEM is FEM. I ended up here taking the Ecology and Energy test – and this is the topic I have the warmest feeling for. Studying things about our environment and ecosystems makes me aware of the current situation on the planet and the desire, if not prevented, to at least be prepared for the global change and to make others aware.
The days off during the education module became a decisive stage for determining my future fate. Until then, I had doubts about whether I really understood the topic. I prepared the project almost accidentally, and I owe my friends for most of the advice – that’s my friends who made me confident about the fact that I still have something to present.
I am grateful to everyone who participated in the project. I am grateful to my friend for pushing me for the two decisive steps – to try and apply and to believe in myself before presenting.”
During the registration for participation, Iryna wrote about herself, that until the 10th grade she had participated in all possible competitions and contests in the Ukrainian language (named after Petro Yatsyk, named after Taras Shevchenko, and the 2nd place in the All-Ukrainian stage) as well as in geography and physics, she took the second prize in the journalism tournament in the 8th grade, and the 3rd place in the jurisprudence tournament and has a B2 certificate in German and a sincere and passionate love for English and Spanish.
