Olia Synyakevych

Olia Synyakevych is a designer in Fablab Fabricator, an innovative laboratory in Kyiv. The laboratory offers R&D and digital prototyping services to Ukrainian and foreign startups, large companies, or independent developers. Fabricator engineers and designers use innovative technologies to introduce new products in a short time into the market and reduce their cost. They provide services from developing new electronic devices, fashion accessories, practical or decorative things to optimizing the production process.

Olia creates 3D modeling and prototyping of models for clients. She also conducts courses and workshops on the basics of working with equipment for children and adults. These educational programs expand the production capabilities of the inventors, promote the development of local production of innovative Ukrainian products.

Olia graduated from the School of Form in Poznan as an industrial designer. She likes designing prostheses, fashion accessories, and she also appreciates social design. Her diploma project on 3D printed leg prosthesis was exhibited at Dubai Design Week 2017.
