STEM is FEM is Announcing Its First Module Prize!

STEM is FEM project announces its first module prize. This is the participation in the largest Polish STEM Summit for Women – Women in Tech Perspectywy. The winner of the competition module on October 19-20 in Kyiv will get a fully funded two-day trip for her and an accompanying adult to Warsaw and full access to the event.
Last year, over 2500 participants from 37 countries gathered at Women in Tech to listen to more than 100 speakers. This year, the representatives from Stanford University and the world’s largest technical organizations, namely the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Intel companies, Siemens, Facebook, Google, Cisco, Amazon, and many others, are to participate. Within two days, women from all over the world will discuss the development of technology industries and females’ place therein, share experiences and motivate each other to accomplish.
The STEM is FEM also has a prize for the winner who cannot go abroad. It is the participation in Nobilitet, Kyiv pre-party awarding the 2019 Nobel Prizes. At the science party, young Ukrainian scientists, intellectuals, and educators are explaining who and why will be awarded the 2019 Nobel Prize. The event features six lectures by top speakers who are proficient in breakthroughs and achievements in physiology and medicine, economics, literature, peacekeeping, physics, and chemistry. In addition, the winner will receive a six-year pre-accession mentorship from a real Ukrainian scientist who will help you to figure out exactly where to study interestingly, how to get into the dream job and not get lost during the adulthood.
The project started the online testing for high-school girls from all over Ukraine in September. On October 19-20, an educational module is held in Kyiv. In Kyiv, the participants have two days of getting into the chosen industry. Therefore, we are planning the meetings with women who are already working in the sphere, Q&A sessions, lectures about the industry’s development and possible career opportunities, excursions to the leading companies. Of course, the girls will take part in the final competition.
Online-testing for the next IT module is to start in November.
