Yelizaveta Sitnikova
Hello everyone! My name is Liza and I am 16. I have been living in Kyiv for three years, and I am looking for new opportunities to tell the world about me. I admire medicine, and I dream of a career as a cardiac surgeon.
In addition, I am a permanent member of the Artistic Arsenal Youth Council. That’s where I spend most of my time when I am not in the lab. I can often be found at events ranging from the Tomorrow teenage conference to medical camps of the DESK scientific platform.
STEM is FEM is not my first competition. Yet, it is this project where I first felt that women in science were cool! Everyone whom I met was incredible and inspired me for new achievements. I really want to study in the US or Germany. So, my goal for the rest of the year is to tell the whole world that I am the girl to change the world.
I am sure that we will hear from each other more than once. And that’s great. Ukrainian women are not only the most beautiful, but they are also the smartest. And when such women unite, real miracles happen! I hope that’s not just my abstract thought. I hope that becomes a reality one day. The Nobel Prize is just around the corner. Stay tuned!
