Ukrainian scientists discussed the role of women in STEM world at the opening of the exhibition "She is science" in Hamburg
Women develop science on a par with men - this was once again proved by the speakers of the panel discussion "How a woman may change science?" in Hamburg. The event took place at the Ukrainian Days Cultural Festival during the opening of the exhibition "She is science". The speakers of the event were the Ukrainian scientists, working in Germany.

• Khrystyna Yezerska - Research Fellow in Modern Energy, IFAM, Bremen
• Olga Yezerska - Doctor of Technical Sciences, working in the Electrochemical Laboratory of Corrosion Protection, IFAM, Bremen
• Olga Lysak, Business Development Manager in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence.
They shared their experience with the audience and discussed how to encourage girls to develop their talents in STEM fields.
In her welcoming speech at the beginning of the event, Consul General of Ukraine in Hamburg Iryna Tybinka stressed the importance of understanding, supporting and encouraging those young girls who want to dedicate their lives to science or work in so-called "male" professions.

The educational art project "She is science" is implemented by STEM is FEM with the support of the UN Women in Ukraine and the UN Children's Fund in Ukraine (UNICEF) in the framework of the UN global campaign "Women of the Equality Generation".
