Kate Davenport

Kate Davenport works as a Political Adviser and Head of Political Section at British Embassy Kyiv. She has been building her career in the diplomatic service for twelve years. In Berlin, she served as First Secretary for EU and Economic Affairs, and in Brussels as Head of the European Parliament Section for the UK Permanent Representation to the EU. Before joining the Foreign Service, Kate worked as a European and International Policy Advisor at the Cabinet Office in London and at the European Commission in Brussels. She began her career working in the commercial and the human resources department of Marks and Spencer Plc. She graduated from the University of Cambridge and the College of Europe in Bruges.
