Nataliia Snihur

My name is Natalie, and I am 16 years old. I study in the tenth grade of a regular secondary school in Odessa.

But this has never limited my abilities. If something is not clear to me, I will turn the whole Internet upside down to find the information I need – and I always succeed. Now, I am passionate about biology. I remember studying zoology, anatomy, genes, and DNA in the seventh grade. Then, I just threw myself into science. And I am getting more and more involved in the subject year by year.

Even though I spend almost all my time studying, creativity is also present in my life. I have been dancing for many years. I love taking pictures and shooting videos. This spring I have entered the top ten Ukrainian film-makers shooting videos on a social theme. Drawing plays a special role in my life. I love drawing on clothes. Once I painted a skeleton with a heart on my T-shirt - and that’s one of the examples of how I use my knowledge.

After being at STEMisFEM for two days, I realized that Biotechnology is what I want to do in the future. I understand that this is a difficult job, but no jobs are easy. I believe that if I want something, I will achieve my goal!
