Yuliya Sokolovska

Yuliya Sokolovska studied at the Kyiv National Economic University and the Joint Vienna Institute (the Applied Economic Policy course). In 2016, she received her second higher education at the National Academy of State Administration (Public Administration). Yuliya tried to use every chance to get additional education and training to develop her skills. This way, she finished the GIZ International Program for trainers on European integration, UNICEF courses, the IMF Institute in the United States, and trained at the World Bank on the Health Improvement Program. In 2009, Yuliya started working at the Kyiv City State Administration attracting investments. After Euromaidan, she started to work at the government. She worked in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Finance and the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers. Yuliya was involved in a program supporting the healthcare reform from the U.S. Agency for International Development in Ukraine. In 2019, she trained members of the Ukrainian parliament in the summer training course. On August 29, 2019, she was appointed as the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine.
