Lesia worked as Deputy Chief of Party of one of the most successful anticorruption project in Ukraine “Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services/TAPAS” funded by US and UK governments. Focusing on work with Ukrainian citizens, the central government, and municipalities to improve public procurement, eServices, and access to public data to help to reduce corruption.
After the Revolution of Dignity Lesia managed Reanimation Package of Reforms (RPR) group supporting Public Services reform, working on implementation of e-governance elements (Open Budget, e-Services) on local level.
In 2015 Lesia together with a reformatory team joined the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine as e-Governance Advisor and then headed the IT, Document Flow and e-Services Department. In addition to establishing transparent processes of all operational activities and public procurement inside the department Lesia took leadership in digitalizing public services of the Ministry and development of the Strategy of Public Services provision. As a result – the National Portal of Administrative Services was developed and deployed and 12 most corrupted licenses and other permissions for international trading were fully digitalized.
Lesia worked in marketing and operational management in international companies as SOLVAY (NYSE, chemicals), STIMOROL CEE, H.J.HEINZ (FMCG), LEO BERNETT, RIMACO Handels GmbH, MILLIMAGES (animation). Managed the biggest animation studio in Europe: 800 employees, 7 subsidiaries all over CEE and CIS. Conducted effective reorganization after crisis in the sector. Developed several successful start-ups in IT, production and service industries.
Lesia is a graduate of National Taras Shevchenko University, PhD Psychology, holds MBA from KMBS Business School.
