I am 16. I live in Volodymyrets in Rivne Oblast. I study in the eleventh grade of Volodymyrets Secondary School №1, and I am doing my best to finish school with honors.

I have many hobbies: playing musical instruments (bandura and piano), reading books, embroidering with beads and watching movies of various genres in my spare time. I am actively involved in my school life: I am the Minister of Culture at the school parliament. That means I am organizing various extracurricular activities, helping volunteers and serving as the head teacher’s right hand.

At the age of 12, I got interested in biology. In the eighth grade, I participated in the Olympiad in biology for the first time. In the ninth and tenth grades, I took part in the fourth stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Biology in Kharkiv and Cherkasy, respectively. Then, I became a prizewinner. Now, I am sure that biology is my favorite subject at school, and I want to connect my life with this science. I like exploring the phenomena, that happens around, and I love learning various living organisms.

I positively accept all the defeats. Each failure inspires me to move on and improve.

Right now, I am choosing my future profession. And I find this task rather difficult – how to choose one job among the many that I like… My favorites are genetic engineer, surgeon, fertility doctor, microbiologist, and pathophysiologist.

Although I do not know what to choose, I know that I want to help people. Helping others is my vocation.

Also, I dream of traveling and learning foreign languages in the future.
