Dominika Stojanoska

Dominika Stojanoska is the Head of Office ad interim of the UN Women Country Office in Ukraine. She has joined UN Women Ukraine Country Office in 2018, as Programme Specialist managing the program portfolio of Eastern Ukraine. Before that, she performed the functions of Head of Programme Office of UN Women in North Macedonia. Dominika has over 15 years of working experience in the area of development, human rights, and gender equality. She started her working experience at the Institute for Central and Eastern Europe of the University of Bologna in 2001, continued as International Relations Officer at the Forli Campus of Bologna University in 2005. She joined the United Nations Development Fund for Women in 2008 as a national coordinator in Skopje and took over the function as a gender specialist and Head of Office of UN Women North Macedonia in 2011.

Dominika holds a B.A. in Political Sciences and a Ph.D. in International Relations and Sustainable Development Policies, with research on gender and development.
